Welcome to the Society of Mountain Artists Website and Online Painting Sales. We are situated in the majestic Blue Mountains west of Sydney in Australia. An area renowned for its World Heritage natural beauty and home for decades of some of Australia's finest artists. A selection of whom are featured on this website.

The main objects of the Society are to foster and to promote visual arts in education, community life, commerce and industry and appreciation of the arts throughout the community.

This is achieved through a varied range of activities both practical and social. We provide opportunities for art enthusiasts who wish to practice, increase their knowledge, expertise and just enjoy visual arts.

The society is an Incorporated Association which is managed by an enthusiastic group of volunteers. Interested art lovers are invited to come along as a guest or join us. We are a friendly Society always ready to welcome new members, whether an emerging artist, an ardent professional or an art associate.
